Sadly EV Events will not be bringing The World of Food and Drink to The Badminton Horse Trials in 2020, due to COVID-19 and cancellation of the event. But we look forward to getting back to Badminton in 2021.
Quite understandably Badminton Horse Trials will not be running this year due to the COVID-19 public health restrictions. Read the full statement here.

This new concept had its inaugural year in 2018 and proved to be a great success.
In 2019 we are expanding the concept to provide a seating area with tables and chairs, a big screen showing all the action and a select number of food and drink vendors. This space will be connected to the exhibition area where there are approximately 40 3x3m stands promoting their products and raising public awareness about their company.
Using 3m depth tentage with 1.5m overhangs to protect shoppers from the elements the units on the outside of the area are principally counter fronted with the stands in the middle encouraged to be "walk in". The walkways between the stands are comfortably wide and house tables and chairs with branded umbrellas.
Visit The World of Food & Drink at Badminton, you won't be disappointed!
E V Events, responsible for the well-established pavilion The World of the Horse at Badminton will now bring a new concept to the horse trials to be called "The World of Food and Drink" which will replace the "Festival of Food" next door to the World of the Horse.
Using 3m depth tentage with 1.5m overhangs to protect shoppers from the elements the units on the outside of the area will be principally counter fronted with the stands in the middle encouraged to be "walk in". The walkways between the stands will be comfortably wide and will house tables and chairs with branded umbrellas.
Stands will be offered in units of 3m x 3m and the emphasis will be on promotion and sampling, as well as selling. There will be no stands cooking food inside the new area. Shoppers will also be able to take away a colour leaflet listing all the exhibitors with their contact details; a navy blue and emerald green colour scheme will be used for signage, graphics and promotional material.
EV Events will also create "The World of Food and Drink" website and will be seeking a brand sponsor from the world of publishing.
Said Badminton Event Director Hugh Thomas "We are delighted that our Food and Drink offering is going to be enhanced through the 'World of Food and Drink'. This area is an increasingly important part of the customer experience at major events and our focus is very much on enhancing that experience at this, the premier international horse trials. I am very confident that the team behind the extremely successful 'World of the Horse' will deliver an outstanding venue for exhibitors and customers alike"
